Who are Knowbooks for?
Knowbooks are for curious people of all ages. Younger children can explore them with an adult, while teenagers and adults can work through experiments independently.
What comes inside each Knowbook?
Each Knowbook contains a curated collection of durable tools plus experiment cards that show you what to do to learn a superpower.
How is the current build quality?
Our first Knowbooks are Believer editions. Each one is hand-crafted in Hawaii. They are complete and usable, but their tools, experiments, packaging, and instructions are improving as we learn from our first customers.
Can I use a Knowbook more than once?
Yes. Knowbooks are designed to last a lifetime and can be explored repeatedly, shared, and returned to the shelf. Most objects inside are reusable tools; some contain consumable/replaceable materials.
Where do materials inside Knowbooks come from?
Tools and other Knowbook contents come primarily from America but also Japan, China, Mexico, Canada, and other countries. Some tools and objects we make ourselves but most come from other companies.
Where do materials used to build Knowbooks come from?
Knowbooks themselves are made from trees grown in Hawaii and America with other materials sourced primary from mainland.
What's the support policy?
All Knowbooks come with lifetime support.
What's the return policy?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If we don't reach your expectations, get in touch and we'll coordinate a replacement and/or refund.
When will my Knowbook(s) ship (Mainland customers)?
Orders begin assembly immediately. You'll receive tracking when your order is on its way. Delivery times will improve as we scale up.
When can I pickup my Knowbook(s) (Hawaii customers)?
Hawaii customers can have their Knowbooks delivered free of charge, or come pick them up.
What are 808 Knowbooks?
All Knowbooks go through many prototype editions. Some of these prototypes we refurbish and sell at discounted prices at local markets in Hawaii. Though these prototype Knowbooks are quirky, like everything we make, we back 808 Knowbooks with lifetime support.
